Annapurna circuit trek is a popular classic trekking route among the global trekkersIt is also well knows as round Annapurna trek. It is an adventurous 160-230 Km hikes  around the majestic Annapurna massif. Annapurna is located in the north-central part of Nepal. It has been preferred as the best long distance trek in the world.  This trail is opened for foreign travelers since 1980s. The trek starts from a low altitude and it reaches a height of 5,416 meters at the Thorang La pass. Thorong La is the highest and challenging pass of the trek. This splendid pass is one of the best points on the face of earth to view the sublime beauty of the mighty Himalayas. The trek crosses two different river valleys encircling the Annapurna range. Annapurna Circuit Trek begins at Beshisahar in the Marshyangdi river valley and ends up in the Kali Gandaki gorge. It is the deepest gorge in the world. The trail passes along paddy fields, sub-tropical forest, amazing waterfalls, huge cliffs and several villages. Depending on the trekkers speed, length of the side trips and rest days taken , it usually takes 10 to 15 days to complete the journey. Lodges / Tea houses accommodation and hygienic meals are available along the trek.

We recommend our visitors take the high trail from Pisang via Ghyaru and Ngawal to Manang for having magnificent views. Here, locals and their villages represent unique Tibetan culture and tradition. One night stay over can help you refresh your body and mind in the village. Moreover, we also suggest you to visit Tilicho Lake and Ice lake. Before the old route was started from the market town of Dhumre (Kathmandu to Pokhara highway) and ended in Pokhara. This old route took about 23 days to complete the trek. Nowadays, road is being constructed up to Chamje on the Marsyangdi river valley and all the way to Muktinath on the Kali Gandaki side. It means that out of the original 23 days the trekking days has been decreasing day by day.It also provides an opportunity to introduce with different ethnic people, their culture and the way of livelihood. Manang valley and Lower Mustang is influenced by Tibetan culture. Visitors will have magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Machhepuchhre (6,993m), Manalsu (8,156m), Gangapurna (7,455m) and Tilicho peak (7,134m) around the circuit. It has been the matter of joy for many visitors who aspire to walk in Annapurna region. After Thorong pass you will visit Muktinath. It is one of the famous temple of Hindus as well as Buddhist. It would be better if you have one more day visit to Marpha. It is famous for Apples in Nepal and beautiful village of the valley. Due to an increasing inflow of trekkers every year, the number of tea houses/lodges has been increased in Annapurna trekking region .
September, October and November to till the second week of December are the highest tourist season with crowd of trekkers. And spring season is also the highest season which falls from February to May because the weather is pleasant and excellent mountain views.  But it is also possible to do the trek most of the year. You can also complete this trek in summer but with lots of leeches.
